January |
|
Monte Carlo historic rally
Location: Reims.
This rally takes place over the last weekend in January, and allows you get up close to a remarkable slice of motoring history. All the cars taking part are models from the Monte Carlo Rally between 1955 (the 25th year) and 1977 (the 45th year). |

Cirque Éducatif
Location: Reims.
Reims cirque school performs traditional cirque acts at Le Cirque and in the centre of the town. |

|
Fête du Chocolat
Location: Epernay.
Local artisan chocolateries demonstrate how to make all things chocolat.

|
Antique/Brocante Fair
1st Sunday of every month. Location: Parc des Expos, Reims.
Antique and bric-a-brac dealers from across the region congregate at Reims' Exhibition Centre on the first Sunday of every month to sell their second-hand objects, antiques and clothes. |

Mailly Champagne, Foire aux Vins et à la Gastronomie
Location: Mailly Champagne.
Annual food and wine fair in the village of Mailly Champagne, over 60 wine and food tasting stands from many regions of France are spread around the centre. Also 3 temporary restaurants open especially for the foire. |

Jumping International Parc de Champagne, Reims
Location: Reims.
Champagne's annual showjumping competition is held at the Parc de Champagne in Reims (the old Parc de Pommery). Welcoming riders from the official international circuit. |

Joan of Arc Festival (Fêtes Johanniques)
Location: Reims.
Every year, the city of Reims celebrates the memory of French patron saint Joan of Arc with a succession of shows and historical living epics

Visitors can stroll through the wooden houses of the medieval market and enjoy a music and light show, with fireworks throughout the course of the weekend. |

Flâneries Musicales d'Eté de Reims
Location: Reims
Reims' annual Flâneries season offers more than 100 free concerts, some at unusual locations like museums, cafes, parks and even factories. More traditional venues such as the cathedral.
The repertoire ranges from classical to jazz music, with two concerts each day. Renowned artists like Mstislav Rostropovich, Montserrat Caballé, Dee-Dee Bridgewater, Wilhelmenia Fernandez, the Ysaÿe Quartet and Henri Dutilleux have performed in the past, making the event a must for music lovers. |

Weekend de L’Excellence Automobile de Reims
Location: Circuit de Gueux, Reims.
Festival of vintage and veteran racing cars in the village of Gueux, held on and around the former famous 1950’s Grand Prix racing circuit.

Le Village de Noël-Reims
Location: Reims.
A Christmas village in the centre of Reims with over 100 stalls selling gifts, food, wine, cider and mulled wine. There's also Christmas stalls, free music concerts, and other events around the town and ice skating rink in Place du Forum, with fireworks on New Years Eve.

|
Habits de Lumière
Location: Avenue de Champagne, Epernay.
The Avenue de Champagne and its prestigious Champagne houses are the centre of festivities: illuminations, orchestras and entertainment, followed by a firework display. There are also Champagne bars and food stalls along the Avenue de Champagne.

Champagne appreciation
Location: Champagne.
Introductory courses in Champagne tasting at the source. There are two options:
- Take 1H30 or 3H00 to discover the diversity of Champagne, and learn more about its taste and appreciation.
- Discover the wine-making process, the sensitivity of the aromas with stimulation of the olfactory and tasting senses, practical exercises and games, blind tasting of Champagnes, and the associations of different foods with Champagne.
Three hour courses cost:
- 50 € / pers for 2 to 5 people
- 40 € / pers for 5 to 8 people
- 30 € / pers for 9+ people
One and a half hour courses cost 25 € / pers for 2+ people.
